The Tipsy Traveler is going on summer holiday

I hope you’ve all been well and enjoying some of the warmer weather that’s rolled in! I’ve guiltily gone MIA for the last few weeks, coming back from a much-needed holiday in May and straight back into work madness that has already burnt me out.

With that, I’ll reluctantly be pausing The Tipsy Traveler for the summer to focus on the few consulting projects I’m working on, in addition to writing my book (help lol) and continuing my editorial work. Basically, I have about five jobs at the moment, and something’s gotta give. Sadly, it’s temporarily this platform that I’ve loved having as a creative outlet, but it’ll be back! (I’ll be pausing paid subscriber payments in the interim.)

I’ll be putting some time into thinking about how The Tipsy Traveler will evolve. At its heart, this newsletter is all about drink-related travel intel. I’ll be keeping that focus, but I’ve been paying attention to what resonates with all of you and will put more time into providing content that my readers come to for my expertise.

On that note, I’d love to get input from you guys on what you want to get from me on The Tipsy Traveler.

• Is it bar reviews and industry news?

• Brand building and communications as it relates to the bar?

• My take on hot topics and cocktail trends?

When the newsletter does return, I’m planning on publishing bi-weekly (2x per month) with a “less is more” mindset, focusing on quality over quantity and cleaning things up a bit.
